MIRAGE 1

MIRAGE
The Love Language of Islam
By:  David Ibrahim

PREFACE

Islam has subtle and deceptive qualities.  Islam being shown in the West today is not the true Islam.  It’s like Muhammad presenting to the Jewish people the honeymoon effect.  Making them feel comfortable and believing that they were serving the same God.  Making them feel that he was for them not against them.  The Jewish people did not buy into his act because he would say one thing but his actions were different.  His actions didn’t reflect what he was saying.  This gave the Jewish people an alarmed whereas they searched the Scriptures as we are told to do and found the errors of what Muhammad was saying and doing.  What Islam say and do are contradictory and deceptive thus a mirage is presented before us, something we think we see but it’s not really there it’s just a lie.

The Hadith states:  “…if somebody (A Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.” (Sahih Bukhari 4:52:260)

The Quran states:  “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve.  Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” (Surah 8:12)

The Quran teaches:  “But when the forbidden months (Ramadan) are past, then fight and slay the Pagan wherever ye find them, and seize them, be leaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem.” (Surah 9:5)

If you are a Muslim and you convert to Christianity the above Qur’an and Hadith verses give permission for a true Muslim to kill another who has strayed show the love of God and shared their new found faith in the God of the Bible.

The West and America is falling into the Islamic trap of hearing sweet and elusive talk but their actions are totally the opposite.  The sword is not being presented here yet but it’s coming.  Islam wants the West and America to think they are a peaceful/loving religion but in reality they want to conquer the whole world for Allah’s sake which will never happen because it goes against the sayings in the Qur’an for Jihad.  Who will the Muslims fight if everyone became Muslim?  The meaning of love and peace in the Qur’an is different from the meaning of love and peace in the Bible along with many other words and phrases.  Islam is sneaking in the backdoor slowly just like Muhammad did when he was ran out of Mecca, settled in Medina, got strong and went back to conquer Mecca.  America is allowing Islam to silence the freedoms for which America stands for.

Muslims manipulate the truth so they can spread the Islamic faith.
[Hiding God’s Word in my heart-Psalms 119:11 (NIV)-I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.  Living it in my life II Corinthians 5:15 (NIV) –And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

INTRODUCTION

Ephesians 6:12 (NIV) – For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The Spirit of Islam is barbaric and full of hatred not the Muslim people per say.  This spirit of Islam is like venom/a drug that shut down their ability to think rationally.  In the end result the Muslim gave his soul to the devil.  The spirit of Islam has a hypnotizing ideology that inspires people to do hideous and violent acts.  Ordinarily on their own the Muslim wouldn’t act in that way.  They would value human life but with this tracheal effect they are not themselves and again, it’s all for the glory of Allah.  They don’t want to do anything to offend him because that means death to them.

A New Version of Christianity
There is a major trend among missiologists, mission groups, and even some seminary facilities to redefine or twist the message of salvation from the Bible.  The intention behind this is to build bridges or relationships that are more acceptable and favorable toward Islamic groups.  This will eventually lead Christianity into a pitfall.  The end result will be catastrophic because they continue to reject the whole counsel of the Word of God.  It seems by their attitudes and actions that God’s grace and love, demonstrated in Christ through His death and resurrection is neither sufficient for them nor for mankind.

Christ continues to be the “stumbling block”!  The Stone that the builders rejects!  It seems “builders” still are troubled by The Rock of Ages!

Exclusive Bridge Building
It seems Islam wants to find some “common ground” and build bridges primarily with the West only through the western liberal media looking for ways to bring “world peace” and acknowledge and repent of abuse toward the Muslim world we have inflicted on them in the pass.  The western world is being entrapped by the Muslims using their religion of peace, love, equality and harmony, etc.

Why Is There No “Bridge Building” In Muslim Areas Of The World?
Where are their endeavors to reach a “common ground” of “build bridges” with them?  It is almost exclusively in the West where they are focusing their “bridge building.”  Bridges are being blown up!  No Muslim scholar have ever came and knocked on my door, seeking to find “common ground” and, or engage in an “interfaith (a mirage) dialogue.  The idea of pursuing “common ground” or “bridge building” with Islam is indeed a great mirage!

Interfaith/Interfaith Dialogue
“The terms interfaith or interfaith dialogue refer to cooperative and positive interaction between people of different religions traditions (i.e. “faiths”) and spiritual or humanistic beliefs, at both the individual and institutional level with the aim of deriving a common ground in belief through a concentration on similarities between faith, understanding of values, and commitment to the world.”

“A Common Word”
An initiative by Muslim scholars, clerics and intellectuals from many different countries, denominations and schools of thought, identifying the teachings of Islam and declaring common ground with Christianity…

Questions that arise about “A Common Word”
Why is there a compulsion to write down the commonalities of Christianity and Islam?  Regrettably, there are no commonalities!  Why do Christians need to be continuously reminded that we have The Ultimate Truth In Christ?  Why are we watering down the Truth?  And why are we willing to compromise with and conform to false teaching?

“What is this document really about?
“Simply put, it is about the Two Golden Commandments:  Love of God and Love of Neighbors, and it is an invitation to join hands with Christians on such a basis, for the sake of God and for the sake of world peace and harmony.”
The Concept of Common Ground, It’s Origin, and A Brief Background (Page 5)
According to the Official Website of “A Common Word,” the document entitled “A common Word between Us and you” is based on the Quranic teaching from Surah 3:64 which states:

Say:  O people of the Book!  Come to common terms  as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not from among ourselves Lords and patrons other than Allah.”  If then they turn back, say ye:  “Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (blowing to Allah’s Will). [Yusuf Ali translation)

The concept of “common word” began with Mohammad in the 7th century when he invited sixty Christian delegates from Najran, (in Saudi Arabia) to come to an agreement, a common word, with him, as the final prophet of Allah.  This was the foundational Key to the movement of ‘a common word’.

Present Sightings of “A Common Word”
Many devout Muslims realize that it will not be an easy task to uproot Christians so they are now trying different means to win the hearts of Christendom.  Using softer terms and of course distorting their own Islamic teachings.

Islams’ foremost and ultimate objective is to convert everyone or make them pay the consequences for rejecting Islam.

Muslims have obscured the true meaning of passages in the Quran by changing the interpretation of key phrases, ignoring the interpretations from the tafsirs, (Muslim commentaries).  They are allowed to do this because of the Islamic doctrine called “al-taqiyya,”  which teaches that deception is legitimate if it assists the spread of Islam.

Following this pattern of justifiable deception, the Islamic scholar emphasize the “common word” but intentionally ignore distinctive and uncompromising doctrines of Christianity such as the deity of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross.  Instead they use terms such as “oneness,”  “unity of God,” “ the same God,” “Love of God,” and “Love of neighbor,” to lure and entrap the ignorant nominal Christian and liberals of the West.

Present Sightings of “A Common Word” (continued)
With careful study of the Quran, one will see that Jesus is described as a “prophet” rather than the Son of God, because Muslims consider it blasphemy to accept him as a Savior.  So basically they absolutely deny the Lordship of Christ (Surahs 5:57; 9:31, His divine Sonship (Surahs 18:4; 2:116; 17:111; 23:91; 5:17), and His Saviorhood (Surahs 4:157; 4:172; 5:17), but they claim that acceptance of the Prophet Muhammad is the ultimate submission to Allah.

The Three “Laws” or “Rules of Life” :  The Old Testament, The New Testament and the Quran

Pope Benedict used the following quotation of Professor Theodore Khoury (Muster)_:
“Show me just what Mohammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”
[After his speech, there was a worldwide hostility toward Christians.]

Other Significant Facts Concerning “A Common Word Between Us and you”
They emphasize that Muhammad and Jesus taught the same doctrines, i.e. to love your neighbor and love God, and thus we serve the same God.  They stated that there is much in common between both religions (Islam and Christianity), but because we’ve had no unity between these two religions there has been chaos in the world.

An interesting observation is that the Muslim scholars mentioned only two religions, Christianity and Judaism.  It’s quite confusing because on the one hand, Christians and Jews are called Infidels; on the other hand, Islam claims that they are People of The Book (Quran 29:46).  According to tradition Islamic classification, there are really only two groups:  the Muslims, who are the faithful, and the non-Muslims, who are the “Kafir” (pagan, infidels).

“A Common Word Between Us and you” begins with the following verse from the Qur’an:
In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful,
Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and contend with them in the fairest way.  Lo! Thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from his way, and He is Best Aware of those who go right. (The holy Qur’an, Al-Nahl, 16:125).

Main quotations from the Letter
“The basis for this peace and understanding already exists, it is part of the very foundational principles of both faiths” love of the One God, and Love of the neighbor.  These principles are found over and over again in the sacred texts of Islam and Christianity.  The unity of God, the necessity of love for Him, and the necessity of love of the neighbor is thus the common ground between Islam and Christianity.

Main quotations from the Letter (continued)
It is clear that the Two Greatest Commandments are an area of common ground and a link between the Qur’an, the Torah and the New Testament.

Comments and Reactions from around the world (Pages 15-17)
Back home, the common expression: SMILE ON THE FACE AND A DAGGER BENEATH” suitably describe the composers of “A Common Word Between Us and You.”  If they are trying to establish the fact that their religion is a ‘religion of peace, love and tolerance,’ then let them prove it by worldwide demonstration of repentance, regret and apology for what they have done to Christians and to other religious groups such as Hindus, Buddhist, Sikhs, Jews, etc. around the world.  Let them not only apologize, but also immediately stop the violence and abuse going on right now toward people who hold different beliefs and convictions.

It’s’ time to take the message of The Gospel of Jesus Christ seriously.  If we are not well grounded in the Scriptures and just following every wind of doctrine, false teachings or a “feel good” message, we will surely fall into a pit of false religion.  I hope you will not be found guilty of what the Spirit of the LORD spoke through the prophet Jeremiah centuries ago.

“For My people have committed two evils:  they have forsaken Me,
the fountain of living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns, broken
cisterns that can hold no water.”  Jeremiah 2:13
